Kids for the Cure® was created in 1998 in Phoenix, Arizona in response to the realization that children were being affected by breast cancer. The youngsters did not contract the disease but they had mothers, aunts, grandmothers, teachers, and other women in their lives who were being affected.
A Kids for the Cure affiliate organization needed a logo for their local race. They ended up with one Way Cool logo!
