    css Zen Garden - Pseudo Sahara

    Way back in the day, @2002, like many web monkeys I was salivating over css Zen Garden and the possibilities of CSS. It opened something in my brain. Although the visions of loveliness I had back then haven't quite come to fruition, it definitely changed my path from simple design and table-based HTML layout to a focus on tableless CSS-based designs.

    I had a quick conversation with Duane Degler from Design for Context at DrupalConDC 2009 this past week. It gave me a great idea to try out a usability feature in my next implementation of the Drupal Content Management System, which is to use CSS to make some of the action functions appear as buttons. Links connote taking a user some place, buttons connote action.

    Vector & Raster Are Not A Type Of Dinosaur

    I still run into lots of folks who don’t really understand graphic image formats and image resolution. It can make a big difference in how images appear in their final form. It sure was confusing for me when I was starting out. Here’s the lowdown.
